Andre spent four years at a dealership detail bay in Scarborough before going out on his own. The work was good; the waiting room was not. Kestrel started with the idea that a detail should come to the car, not the other way round.
The van carries its own 200-litre water tank, a quiet generator and everything else the job needs, so a driveway, a condo visitor spot or a work parking lot all work.
Kestrel still runs as a small operation: Andre and one trained helper, a set route across North York and midtown, and prices that are confirmed before anyone picks up a brush.
